Family Education

Family Education is for families of any age, size, shape, or configuration. That means it is for YOU. We’re excited to have enlisted three phenomenal families educators for the year. Led by Hebrew College Rabbinical student Lev Nelson, we’ve put together a 4-part series called Judaism You Can Touch:

Sukkot – Sunday, October 16, 5-7pm
Chanukah – Thursday, December 22, 4-8pm
Tu B’shvat – Wednesday, February 8, 6-7pm
Passover – Shabbat afternoon, March 31, 12:30-1:30pm

Our Young Families Programs
It is never to early to begin your child’s Jewish education.  Most of our Young Family experiences are open – drop on by!  Check the calendar for times and specific events, or sign-up for e-mail notices of upcoming events.

Cuddle Up Shabbat – Where else can you welcome Shabbat with Kermit, Elmo and our own Julia Priest?  Put on your PJs and join us for songs, stories and prayerful moments.

Home-Hosted Shabbat Dinners -

Childrens’ Kiddush – at KI we even make Kiddush easy for families.  At our weekly Congregational Kiddush you’ll find  special seating for your children.

Little Hands Play Group- Keep your child’s ‘Little Hands’ engaged in Jewish learning while you meet other young families. We meet on Monday mornings at 11am, in Novakoff Hall. All are welcome.
