Support Your KI Community

The Jewish calendar affords us the good fortune of marking multiple spiritual new years within each calendar year. Our secular calendar, however (well, except for sports fans), is singular and it will conclude in a few short weeks. As we put our financial houses in order in preparation for the tax year’s conclusion, please consider KI in your gifting plans.

This year’s Annual Fund giving will be directed toward 2 initiatives:

• Support Got Shabbat. Since its introduction nearly two years ago, Got Shabbat has become an anticipated gathering following Kabbalat Shabbat services, bringing all parts of our vibrant community together for convivial conversation over a delicious dinner. Please consider donating to our Got Shabbat Fund to help expand Got Shabbat’s reach.
• Upgrade the Chapel’s audio/visual system. KI’s wood-paneled intimate chapel, the center of our thrice-daily minyan, has relied on ad hoc computers, microphones, and cameras. Supporting KI’s Facility and Maintenance Committee plans to build in and hardwire cameras and microphones will enhance safety and improve the quality of our streaming community participants.

Donate to one, or both, projects! When doing so, you can let us know where to direct your support. Should you choose not to specify a particular project, your generous gift will be directed toward what we identify as the highest priority needs, maximizing its impact and allowing us to respond with flexibility.
