Life Cycle Events at KI

We mark the passage of time and the holiness of our lives by commemorating life moments through ritual.

Participation in these rituals reinforces our community and provides a link to our past, present and future.  Each lifecycle event signifies major changes in our lives, whether joyous as a birth or marriage, or difficult and painful as the loss of a loved one.

During these times, please don’t hesitate to contact us—for guidance from our clergy, help arranging rituals through our main office, or to rely on the support of our greater community.  Judaism places special emphasis on four events in our lifetime; each of these steps through your Jewish Journey has specific rituals and traditions that we can help you navigate.
