Preparing for Shavuot and Service Times

Preparing for Shavuot
Ahead of Shavuot, we’re delighted to share some rituals and our services times to help you and yours observe and celebrate the holiday.

Tikkun Leil Shavuot (Learning in Community)
Chanel your inner night owl at the Community Tikkun Leil Shavuot in two locations: 384 Harvard Street and 100 Centre Street in Brookline. You can see all the learning sessions here.

Arrange Eruv Tavshilin
An Eruv Tavshilin is a ritual done before a holiday that permits you to continue preparing food for Shabbat during the holiday. This occurs when a Jewish holiday falls right before Shabbat—for example, when Yom Tov is on Thursday and Friday, leading directly into Shabbat.
