KI is honored to welcome Dr. Bruno Chavez for a discussion about Dutch Jewry. Dr Chavez holds a PhD from Hebrew University, and has collaborated on research publications with Yad Vashem and received support from them for his work on the Holocaust since 2014. This presentation draws on his PhD research and work with Yad Vashem. He is a professor of Contemporary Judaism at OLAMI Hebrew School in Mexico City, where he currently, teaches courses on the history of Israel and Holocaust history. He also consults extensively on exhibition projects in museum in Mexico and internationally about Jewish history and the Holocaust. Dr. Chavez’ presentation of approximately 45 minutes will be followed by Q&A.
