Enlarging your Spiritual Storehouse
“Jews kept and enlarged their spiritual store at the very time when they were hunted and hated” wrote the novelist George Eliot. She marveled at the pliancy of Hebrew genius which relentlessly insisted, “difficulty means new device.”
Toward this end, I am announcing a new weekly online gathering. Every Friday morning from 8:00-8:30 am (EDT), beginning tomorrow, we’ll come together for an: Erev Shabbat Refill: Enlarge your spiritual storehouse.
We’ll pray, reflect, and draw upon emotional insights from Psalms that help us tap that vast unmapped countryside inside each of us, where the soul and fresh-fed meanings are active.
I hope you’ll join me and spread the word – all are welcome.
Until tomorrow morning, let’s continue to prioritize those held captive. Please watch.
Am Yisrael Chai.
Rabbi William Hamilton
